Det er altid HELT uden omkostninger for startups at blive præsenteret for investorer og modtage en investering. DanBAN er en non-profit organisation og vi er finansieret af medlemmer samt samarbejdspartnere som Nordea.

Størstedelen af DanBAN's investorer har tidligere selv været iværksættere eller kommer fra corporate verdenen. En stor del investerer i dag i startups på fuld tid. Foruden penge kommer de med stor viden og netværk.

What stage do I need to be in to apply for funding?

DanBAN investorerne investerer typisk på et tidligt stadie i skalerbare startups med et godt team med stort potentiale. DanBAN har over 300 investorer, alle med forskellige investeringspræferencer. Vi anbefaler, at startups som minimum har en fungerende MVP, før det giver mening at ansøge. Investorerne foretager typisk investeringer efter grundlæggere, venner og familie selv har finansieret opstarten, og før eller samtidig med den første venturekapitalrunde.

Underskriver I NDA'er?

DanBAN underskriver ikke NDA’er. Derfor er det vigtigt, at du ikke deler dybt fortrolige oplysninger når du uploader dit materiale via. vores platform StartupIncluder. Det kunne f.eks. være tekniske detaljer om jeres teknologi, der vurderes at kunne være patenterbare. Bliver jeres startup udvalgt til at pitche til én af vores pitch events vil du blive opfordret til at sende et opdateret pitch deck direkte til en af vores Investor Relations Managers via. e-mail. Dette materiale vil kun blive vist på en skærm til selve pitch eventet og således ikke delt elektronisk med deltagerne uden jeres forudgående samtykke.

Does DanBAN make money on my investment?

No. DanBAN is a non-profit organisation and we do not charge percentages, administration fees or referral fees. DanBAN is financed by an annual membership fee from our members and partners.

How are investments made in DanBAN?

DanBAN organiserer pitch events og formidler kontakt mellem startups og de investorer, som er interesserede i en videre dialog med det respektive startup. Derudover hjælper sekretariatet i DanBAN gerne med at finde lokaler til mødet mellem startup og investorer. Når kontakten er skabt, bidrager DanBAN kun, hvis startuppet eller investorerne finder det nødvendigt. Vi anbefaler ikke specifikke typer af investeringer, og vi driver ikke en fond for DanBAN investorerne. Medlemmer af DanBAN træffer deres egne investeringsbeslutninger og investerer deres egen individuelle kapital direkte i startups. Det er også op til virksomhederne og investorerne selv at strukturere ethvert rådgivende eller bestyrelsesforhold, som de finder passende.

Does DanBAN focus on a specific sector?

Nej, DanBAN har ingen specifikke fokusområder. Alle startups med stort vækstpotentiale, innovative og skalerbare ideer kan ansøge.

Can I get contact information on specific investors?

We do not pass on contact information to our investor members. If you apply through Dealum, investors have the opportunity to contact you—if they are interested. If you are selected to pitch at our monthly pitch event, you will meet the investors present.

What does a typical program look like at a DanBAN pitch event?

Bemærk: alle andre startups, som skal pitche, også er tilstede under din præsentation.

How is due diligence done?

Medlemmerne af DanBAN foretager på frivillig basis hele due diligence processen. Af og til med juridisk rådgivning. Der udvælges som oftest en lead angel, som varetager due diligence og en eventuel bestyrelsespost i virksomheden. Han/hun rapporterer tilbage til gruppen (i tilfælde af syndikering), altså er der kun én investor eller to (hvis det giver mening), som er i kontinuerlig dialog med virksomheden.

How many people come to a DanBAN pitch event?

There’s 35–60 investors present at DanBAN pitch events, plus the 5–7 startups that will pitch on the day. DanBAN pitch event is only for members, selected startups and few invited guests.
